Recreation Park Ballfield Complex

Recreation Park is the jewel of the City of Chehalis. It’s a beautiful entrance to our community and we are excited to have a plan for renovating the entire park, including replacing Penny Playground and resurfacing the four ball fields.

We have also begun the renovation of the ballfield complex. For starters, the drainage system for the fields will be completely overhauled. That will be followed by the installation of all-weather surfaces on all four fields.

We think that our highly successful high school softball program deserves a first-class facility on which to practice and play.

In addition, Chehalis has lost out on scheduling youth softball and baseball tournaments in the spring and early summer because the fields have not been playable.

Upgrading the four ballfields will allow tournaments to return to Chehalis, resulting in an increase in tourism revenue to our community of nearly $1,000,000 per year.

Our family has been dedicated to providing affordable access to youth sports activities since starting the Pacific Athletic Center in 2011. It’s been great hearing the stories of the kids who have been able to get involved in programs in which they, otherwise, would not have been able to participate.

Pacific Mobile Structures has been a long-time member of the Chehalis business community and a long-time supporter of many projects that have improved the lives of our neighbors in this community.  Once again, we are excited to step up and help with the renovation of Recreation Park by sponsoring one of the four ballfields.  This is just another way that we can continue to contribute to improving local sports facilities.
