The Recreation Park Ballfield Complex underwent a comprehensive renovation to enhance its facilities, including replacing Penny Playground and resurfacing the four ball fields.
Project Benefits
The upgrades include a complete overhaul of the drainage systems and installation of all-weather playing surfaces on all four fields. These improvements support the high school softball program and attract youth softball and baseball tournaments, potentially increasing tourism revenue by nearly $1,000,000 per year.
