Richard "Dick" Sieler Scholarship

The Richard “Dick” Sieler Memorial Scholarship was created in loving memory of Dick Sieler. He began a long teaching career at W.F. West High School in 1962. He taught history, civics, economics, and current world problems, coached basketball and football, and retired in 1987. Dick was honored with the Teacher of the Year for the State of Washington in 1986. He had a tremendous love for education, sports, and students. W.F. West High School meant a great deal to him.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must have been enrolled and graduated from the Chehalis School District, have a GPA of 3.2 or above and attend a public or private University in Washington. This scholarship is offered through donations from family members, friends, and co-workers.
