Funding

The Chehalis Foundation has raised over 18 million dollars in the past 22 years to fund more than 30 civic and educational projects. These include rebuilding recreational parks, community pools and ballparks, beautifying the streets of Chehalis, helping other non-profit community organizations and most notably, enhancing the educational programs in our schools. We work hard to make every project successful, and we judge our success by the positive impact our work has on the community.

All grant funding applications should align with the Chehalis Foundation’s mission to support projects that benefit the city, the community, and academic excellence in Chehalis schools. The Foundation’s purpose is to enhance the quality of life while lessening financial burdens on taxpayers and government, ensuring greater opportunities for children and long-term community growth. Applicants should ensure their proposals reflect these values, contributing to initiatives that strengthen education, public spaces, and civic improvements.

A Note Before You Begin:
The Chehalis Foundation is proud to support projects that strengthen our community. In the past, most approved funding requests have been part of collaborative efforts with the City of Chehalis and the Chehalis School District. While we welcome a wide range of ideas, we encourage applicants to consider how their project might align with our existing community partnerships or priorities.
