History:
Robert Lintott was a dedicated teacher who loved educating the children of Chehalis for over twenty years. As a fourth-grade teacher, he believed deeply in the power of education and always maintained that every child had the potential to succeed if given the right opportunity. Known for his creative teaching methods, he famously cut up his tie to teach fractions, a memorable moment for his students. Outside of the classroom, Robert was a committed adult leader in the Boy Scouts and was actively involved in his church’s youth programs. A wonderful husband, father, and community supporter, Robert’s passion for education and service left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Scholarship Purpose:
This scholarship was created to honor Robert Lintott’s legacy of teaching, community involvement, and his belief in every child’s potential. It aims to support students who demonstrate similar values of service, leadership, and a commitment to education.
