History:
During a W. F. West Scholarship and Awards night, Kathy Haunreiter Johnson, an alum of the Class of ‘63, was presenting a scholarship in honor of her parents. Inspired by the idea of individual classes awarding scholarships, she invited Bob Spahr from the Class of ‘65 to share how their scholarship fundraising worked. Moved by the opportunity to give back, the Class of ‘63 raised $4,000 in their reunion year to launch their scholarship program.
