The Jack State Memorial Tennis Scholarship recognizes student-athletes who excel both on and off the tennis court. This scholarship is awarded to one member of the boys’ team and one member of the girls’ team who exemplify sportsmanship, leadership, and academic achievement.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a member of the W.F. West High School tennis team (one boy and one girl selected)
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrating a commitment to academic excellence
  • Must exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, including fairness, respect, and integrity in matches and team interactions
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership skills, taking on responsibilities within the team and positively influencing peers

Selection Considerations

  • Recipients will be selected based on their sportsmanship, leadership, and academic performance
  • A selection committee will review applications and determine awardees
